What was the highlight of Nost Cottages
Good
We booked the family room and it is huge! It comes with a large balcony looking out to the sea. And although there's no beach, you can walk down a few steps and enter shallow water, where we snorkeled one morning - there are many coral heads in the swimming area.
The lady at the reception was very nice and friendly, but a little forgetful - mostvof the things we asked for were not done/provided until we asked a second/third time. We also want to complain about the access road to the hotel: after a rain shower, the puddles lasted 3 days to dry up; in the mean time, you tip toe through the muddied puddles, pretty disgusting at some locations. But, to be fair to Nost Cottages, the road is not something they can control.

Check-in was fine and Cherry was very nice Nice view across the sea from the room
Unfortunately most of it. The "cottages" are located down a single lane muddy track / road. At 7/7:30 be prepared for hundreds of people directly outside your room, waiting for boats and diving. Also some people using a megaphone to shout at boats. The bath and shower are a bit of a mess. I had an army of ants marching through from the bathroom, around the door and up into the ceiling. Plug socket was hanging out of the wall. Pillows were filled with fibres instead of a solid pillow. There are almost no facilities on site and you need to get up the dirt track and back to the main road to find anything. Tours offered are on the expensive side, can be found cheaper online! We were supposed to stay for 7 nights and left after the first night :(

The staff were amazing. Cherry & Anne went out of their way to help with any requests & arranged great tours to Bohol, Kawasan Falls & island tours.
